Getting the most from a paper chart

Keep the chart next to the medication, with a pen. Tick straight after giving the dose, not before, and add your initials so anyone else in the house can see who gave it. A ticked box is the quickest way to stop a dose being given twice.

For a course with an end date, the schedule maker prints the whole course and adds a calendar file with alerts.

    Questions

Can I print a blank chart?

Yes. Leave the names empty and the chart prints with the dose times and days, ready to fill in by hand.

What paper size does it print on?

Whatever your printer is set to, A4 or US Letter. Longer charts run onto a second page with the column headings repeated.

This page isn’t veterinary advice. Always follow your vet’s instructions and the medication’s label.
